About


Dr. Conner Milliken is a queer artist, writer, academic, and creative producer based in Glasgow, Scotland. Working across disciplines he is primarily concerned with the writing and performing of the queer self.

His work has been shown at Dance International Glasgow (Tramway), The Southbank Centre, Summerhall (Made In Scotland Showcase), Queer Theory Glasgow, Love Botique and has been published in MAI: Feminism & Visual Culture and Mechanics Institute Review


He completed a Doctorate of Fine Art in Creative Writing at the University of Glasgow in 2023. In line with his academic research he organised a postgradute symposium on Beginnings, Networks and Endings, and has presented research at Colette Sadler’s festival Present Futures at the CCA. 

He ran online creative writing workshops alongside Maria Sledmere called Pop Matters

He is co-director of Hacks with Annie Lowry Thomas, a performance collective that creates contemporary performance and produces the work of collaborators. For more info visit www.producedbyhacks.co.uk
